August 5th, 2007.

Recently, I like to remember my childhood song. It was full with Spice Girls’, Backstreet Boys’, 5ive’s, Boyzone’s, 911’s. My cousin, Astari, introduced me with these kind of musics. From the moment I heard Spice Girls cassette played in her car, I fell for it rght away. I did fancy Gery Halliwell—ginger spice—who later chose to get out from this magnificent girlband.

You know what, my cousins and I made a vocal group, named Paradise, which had ever sang live in Lapangan Banteng. We sang Spice Girls’ songs: four songs in total. Spice up your life, Say You’ll Be There, Mama, and Wannabe. Whoaaa... It was truly embarassing and fascinating also. Hahahaha.

My favourite Spice Girls’ songs are Two Become One and Love Thing. Gery is absolutely charming and beautiful in Two Become One video. OMG, what a woman!

And at that time, I think, BSB was being a boyband phenomenon. I did hope that every member of Spice Girls would end to marry every member of BSB or Boyzone. It was proven a while by Emma Bunton and Stephen Gately’s affair, until Gately’s proven that he’s a gay. Hahaha.

My favorite person in BSB is Bryan. He’s very funny. His voice is deeply touching. He’s very charming!!! Maybe the second place is Kevin when he has a haircut lie in the second album videos [I Want It That Way, Show Me The Meaning of Being a Lonely, Larger Than Life]

I don’t know what part of human’s brain which makes them enjoy gossiping—I do wonder. I confess it, I’m a sinner who likes to talk about others’ much. However, I should not—never—agree if what I’m talking about is only my own-subjective-unfair perception which in the end I make it into makebelieving—pembenaran. *Gossip is only gossip until it’s proven—I always tell it to my mind on and on every time I’m gossiping.*

And I’m quite sure, neither they are. L!

Sama seperti lagu di atas, lagu ini juga pernah lama gw lupakan. Since someone who used to remind me about the magnificent of his favorite band—Mr.Big—almost never talk to me [kok jadi curlong?], gw jadi jarang dengerin Mr.Big. Habis setiap kali denger suaranya Eric Martin atau petikan gitarnya Paul Gilbert, I’ll once again fall for that person [jijaaay abis lo, Chaaa!]. Akhirnya, setelah 4 tahun tidak ada komunikasi yang signifikan dengan oknum tersebut, gw pun seiring waktu jarang banget mendengarkan Mr.Big.

Pada suatu hari, Sasha ngajak gw nonton persembahan maba anak FT [tetangga itu lho...] dan ternyata di sana ada band senior yang maenin lagu ini. Sumpah, bikin crowd-nya nge-feel abis! Berasa lagi ada di konser rock—apalagi dengan anak-anak FT yang mayoritas isinya cowok-cowok. Segeralah gw kembali dibuat jauh cinta sama orang itu—eh salah—sama lagunya!!! [aduuh Ichaaaa!!!]
